Hello, I’m Alex, English copywriter

I’m British and I live in London, United Kingdom

Hello and welcome to the page for me, Alex – seasoned copywriter, blogger and author with extremely poor vision and even worse dress-sense. As a copywriter with more years in this industry than I’d happily own up to, I have written for most conceivable industry sectors – above-the-line, below-the-line, through-the-line and online. In this time I have worked for London advertising agencies large and small, and some of my work has been recognised by the likes of D&AD, Cannes, Campaign Press and British TV Advertising awards. (The fools!) I’m still being employed on a freelance basis by agencies and clients alike. (So there’s life in the old dog yet.) In 2011, I turned my hand to writing fiction and my first teen novel, ‘Sleeping with the Blackbirds’ was published by PenPress and launched at Waterstones. My only other claim to fame is that I’m most probably the only human being on this planet who can claim to have been accidentally locked in a record shop on Christmas Eve. From here onwards, my lips remained sealed. If you’d like to learn more, you’ll have to hire me.
