After obtaining a certificate in Adobe After Effects and Motion Graphics, I came to specialize in TV commercials and radio scriptwriting and art direction, where I played a vital part in their production. The challenge of getting my concepts across compelled me to resume experimentation with a wide range of tools to deliver illustrated and audiovisual presentations of my ideas, which led to my promotion to the role of Conceptualizer by the end of my first year. My involvement ranged from promotional to social projects. Working within teams, I wrote scripts and created low-budget videos featured on Ads of the World. In parallel, I was involved in initiating several video-based awareness campaigns. One, in particular, was against the Crime of Honor Law in Jordan, appearing on local TV channels. Besides the daytime job, I took every opportunity to freelance; dealing directly with startups and entrepreneurs, whose guidelines, still under established, offered more room for deviation. I also had the chance to freelance for big clients, such as Cheil Worldwide, where I was responsible for creating video-storyboards for Samsung-campaign case studies to be submitted to the Cannes awards.
