I’ve started my career as a Portuguese copywriter trainee in Curitiba, Brazil. Although it wasn’t planned, back in Portugal I started working for a copywriting agency with 100% Portuguese capital; therefore smaller, and with different structures than the international ones. This allowed me to have a more widespread understanding of all the communication’s disciplines, a closer relationship with clients, as well as the means to explore different ways of creative copywriting, for different media and targets. Advertising, Direct Marketing, Behavioural Marketing, Promotions, Internal Communication Programmes, advertising slogans, Political Marketing and Graphic Design are disciplines I became familiar with. This last one, especially concerning Branding, although it was the last one to meet, it is the one I love the most because it’s at the origin of everything.
