I’m a Creative Director

Born in London, seasoned in Guadalajara and based in Chicago, I am a British-American copywriter with a proven track record of creating work that works.

As an SVP Creative Director for one of the world’s most famous advertising agencies, I have created campaigns that have won Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, Clios (including induction into the Clio Hall of Fame), Addys, Kinsale Sharks, Andys, Obies, Tellys, Art Directors Club, London International, and NY Festivals.

Over the last 25 years, I have had the privilege of working across all media channels, from TV and print to social media and digital, from out-of-home and point of sale to radio and direct mail.

In addition, I have extensive blog-writing and product-naming experience.

While the list of clients I have worked on is too long for this paragraph, some of the more notable ones have been McDonald’s, Nintendo, Samsung, US Army, Altoids, Reddi Wip, Allstate, P&G, and Shell, Marlboro, Microsoft and PUMA.

Smaller clients have included a brewery, a winery, a custom-furniture company, a local electric company, a dog-grooming company, an import-export firm, and an international translation service.

Sitting down in front of a blank piece of paper and crafting copy that will help move a client’s business forwards is still my first love.

While I began my career working mostly in print and television, I have for the last 10 years focused more on direct mail, social media, websites, corporate communications and blogs.

I love what I do and very much enjoy collaborating with clients on projects big and small.

Fast, thorough and with an attention to detail, I am able to turn my hand (and keyboard fingers) to any assignment, in any industry, across any media.
