I bring about 14 years of experience in the communication industry, with a distinct focus in the fields of journalism, public relations, corporate communications and now advertising. I started my career in NST in Business Computing where I focused on enterprise computing stories that are related to ERP, CRM & SCM issues as well as technology related feature articles. Since then, I moved into the field of corporate communications and freelanced for a bit too. Once I completed my Masters Degree in Advertising at RMIT in Melbourne, I came back to Malaysia and got into advertising. I have handled clients like Peugeot, UMLAND and most recently TOYOTA. Apart from Toyota, I also handled clients like Panasonic, Kao, Daikin, Hokto Mushrooms and Ajinomoto. My biggest win in terms of a pitch was being part of the creative team that wrestled over the Toyota VIOS account from Dentsu. This was a huge achievement for both Hakuhodo Malaysia and myself too. I have since moved to Havas Worldwide and then to Paultan.org for a short stint. I freelanced at Y&R for a month back in November before ultimately joining Astana International, where I’m part of the team handling Telekom Malaysia and Petron. My diverse yet varied background ensures I will be a worthy addition to the team. I have always believed in writing compelling, result-driven copy that is clear, succinct and focused. My experience in conceptualising, writing and editing content extends to a variety of campaigns. Part and parcel of my job specification is to review, proofread and edit the work of other writers too. I have always believed in the power of the written word to achieve strategic goals and increase conversion rates. Creativity, integrity and quality are buzzwords that anchor my vision towards the future. Simply head to for a selection of my best work thus far.
